| Mandelbrot set
[ explore image by mouse to see Julia sets ] Mandelbrot set is a fractal generated by comuter. It is one of the most complicated mathematical objects in the world. The base of Mandelbrot set is iteration or multiple recurrence method. This method was elaborated by G. Julia and P. Fato, further developed on PC by B. Mandelbrot. The set consists of many small sets called Julia sets. They are characterised by continual recurrence of forms while immersing in the object. The set becomes more and more self-depictive and posseses strange beauty while one approaches its haotic borderlines. Initial formula by which Julia and much more complicated Mandelbrot sets are generated is very simple: Z=Z^+c There are two parameters in the formula. Z is complex variable by whom n iteration are performed. C is a constant parameter. |
